What is a Dock Seal or Dock Shelter?
A Dock Seal or Dock Shelter is a unit that is designed to fit around the top and sides of a door opening to create a seal between the building wall and the truck. Dock Seals and Shelters are designed to withstand the impact from an incoming trailer and help to prevent energy loss and environmental control.
What is an Inflatable Seal or Inflatable Shelter?
Inflatable Seals or Inflatable Shelters are designed to fit around the top and sides of a door opening to create a seal between the building wall and the truck. These units are designed to be inflated after the trailer has docked to help prevent energy loss and improve environmental control. The air bags are then deflated before the trailer leaves the loading dock preventing wear and tear on the unit.
What is an Air Curtain?
Air Doors are designed to allow unrestricted access to the outside, while conserving energy. An invisible “Wall of Air” is created that serves as the barrier preventing conditioned air from leaving the building and blocking outside air from entering. Also special types of Air Doors protect against flying insects, dust and dirt.
